Home, for me, is about mindset. A place where your mind can come to rest, to be at peace.
Each day when Miles and I pull into our driveway, when the day is done, Miles shouts, “Hooray!” Because he has heard his mama clap and shout forjoy each time we come home.
When your place of home is uncertain, like ours was just a month ago, you learn to have so much gratitude for safety, forsomewhere to be at peace.
We have that now and we’re so grateful. We know how many people are desperate to have what we have, we were just so recently those people.
In this month of hibernation, family, friends, coziness and love- take a moment to givethanks for the walls that house you. For the doors and windows and items that surroundyou and make your life easier.
Take just five minutes to sit, no phone or distraction, and give thanks for all that you are and all that you have.
